Welcome. This page originally pointed to the Gamelan Java discussion areas. At this time, we are recommending a couple of areas to go for discussions on Java.
The first place to try are the forums on jGuru.com. This is a site focused on Java and open source technologies. It contains a list of FAQs as well as a discussion area.
You can also check out the Java forum on Codeguru.com. While Codeguru contains a ton of information on C++, C, C#, and .NET, it also has a Java forum you can post questions to as well.
