As part of its ongoing Jolt Awards series, the Dr. Dobbs' website has singled out four coding tools that it feels deserve special recognition for innovation over the last 12 months. Fourth place/honorable mention went to CloudBees, a PaaS for Java-based Web apps. A Jolt Productivity Awards for the second runner up went to Xamarin MonoTouch and Mono for Android; the Xamarin team took over Mono development after Novell discontinued its involvement in the project.
