Survey: 1 in 5 Enterprises Release Software More than Once Per Day

DevOps and agile software development practices are speeding enterprise application development.

In a new survey of 360 DevOps teams conducted by Logz.io, 21 percent of those surveyed said they deploy software more than once every day. In addition, 40 percent said they push out new code several times a week, and 28 percent release software every couple of weeks.

Other key findings included the following:

  • 80 percent of DevOps teams have a continuous integration strategy.
  • 78 percent of DevOps teams are working with microservices.
  • 53 percent of DevOps managers are using containers.
  • More than 40 percent of those surveyed still say less than a quarter of their infrastructure is in cloud computing environments.
