Microsoft Launches Revamped Windows Phone Dev Center

The program now supports four times as many countries and allows payment via PayPal.

Microsoft has completely redesigned its Windows Phone Dev Center "from the ground up" and has added several new features to its developer program. According to Microsoft, the goal for the design changes was "providing faster access to common tasks."

The Dev Center now offers mobile development pros more payment options, including PayPal. In addition, developers "in four times as many countries and regions" can now submit apps for the platform. Microsoft also improved its analytics tools for Windows Phone apps.
