Google's New Programming Language: Dart

The soon-to-be-revealed language is designed for "structured Web programming."

At the Goto Conference in Denmark in October, Googlers Lars Brak and Gilad Bracha will present a keynote address titled "Dart, a new programming language for structured web programming." Little is known about Dart, but both presenters have extensive experience with Smalltalk, so it's likely the new language will be similar.

Google has created one other programming language in-house: Go, which is a system-oriented language more similar to C.
