Google Hosts Dart Developer Conference

Google hasn't been saying much about its Dart programming language lately, but that's about to change. The company is holding a Dart developer conference in Munich this week.

Dart is a Google-created language that compiles to JavaScript, and Google has used it internally to great effect. The company's AdWords, AdSense and Google Fiber teams use Dart extensively, and they say that it speeds development times by 25 to 100 percent. It's also the faster-growing programming language within Google.
