Now organizations can use the paid version of the service in the cloud through GitHub.com.

GitHub is adding to its product lineup with a new hosted Enterprise version. Like the existing GitHub Enterprise, which organizations can run in their own data centers or on a public cloud computing service, the hosted version costs $21 per user per month. The hosted version is available through GitHub.com and comes with a 99.95 percent uptime guarantee.

The company will also continue to offer its free version control service for open source projects, as well as its paid Developer and Team options for small organizations.
