The popular programming question-and-answer website is back online.

Around 11 am Pacific time on Sunday, February 16, the very popular coding website Stack Overflow experienced an outage. The site was down for about an hour, reportedly because of a DDOS attack against its network provider. The website's parent company later said the problem had been "partially mitigated."

Stack Overflow offers a forum for developers to ask and answer questions about programming. It typically sees around 1.7 million unique visitors on a weekend day and about 4 million on a weekday.
