by Developer.com Staff

The two will appear in free lessons available through Code.org.

Code.org has announced that Bill Gates, founder of Microsoft, and Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, have agreed to appear in two of its "Hour of Code" tutorials. The 60-minute sessions will be part of the observation of Computer Science Education Week (CSEW), which begins December 9. Facebook and Microsoft will also be offering prizes and other support during the week, and one school that participates will get a one-hour video conference with Gates.

Code.org is dedicated to the idea that "every student in every school should have the opportunity to learn computer programming."
