Apple has released its quarterly financials, and this report includes plenty of good news for the mobile development industry. For the fourth fiscal quarter of 2018, the company reported revenue of $9.98 billion (which it rounded up to $10 billion) from its services category, which includes the App Store, as well as iCloud, Apple Pay, Apple Music and a few others. That was a 17 percent year-over-year increase, and a 27 percent year-over-year increase if you disregard some one-time gains reported in 2017.

The company also noted that 330 million Apple customers now subscribe to its services, a 50 percent increase from 2017. By 2020, the company expects services revenue to top $14 billion.
