At first the update was bricking some iPhones.

On Tuesday, Apple released the latest version of its mobile operating system, iOS 10. New features of interest to the mobile development industry include updated APIs that allow developers to write apps that use the capabilities of Siri, Maps, Phone and Messages; new 3D Touch improvements; an enhanced Messages app; and quicker device wakeup.

The update arrived just three days before the company will begin sales of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. During the first hour that the update was available, some users reported that iOS 10 was bricking their devices. Apple says it has fixed the problem.
