Finnish startup Jolla has posted a YouTube video that offers a sneak peak at its new mobile operating system Sailfish. Jolla was founded by a group of ex-Nokia employees who wanted to continue working on MeeGo, an open source mobile OS based on Linux. Nokia released just one handset based on MeeGo before deciding to adopt Microsoft's Windows Phone platform.
The video showcases the user interface, but provides few details about Sailfish. However, an SDK is currently available for developers, and Jolla plans to release the OS officially in 2013.
