Enterprises are looking for freelancers with artificial intelligence skills.

At the GPU Technology Conference, NVIDIA announced that it wants to increase the current number of artificial intelligence (AI) developers ten-fold. It will train 100,000 developers and data scientists in the use of AI technologies through the NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute. “AI is the defining technology of our generation,” said Greg Estes, vice president of developer programs at NVIDIA. “To meet overwhelming demand from enterprises, government agencies and universities, we are dramatically expanding the breadth and depth of our offerings, so developers worldwide can learn how to leverage this transformative technology.”

In related news, a recent report from freelance job board Upwork found that AI skills are the fastest-growing in-demand development job skill.
