Ultrabooks and a partnership with Google are in the works for Intel.

Microsoft's BUILD conference isn't the only developer event going on this week -- Intel is holding its Intel Developer Forum at the same time. At the Tuesday keynote, Intel CEO Paul Otellini took the opportunity to chart the course of the company's future mobile plans.

He also plugged the upcoming "Haswell" processors and showed off a solar-powered chip.
